Outback allied health professionals with the JCU Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health, North West Hospital and Health Service, North West Remote Health and Gidgee Healing invite you to submit your abstract in “Connecting Across Wide Horizons: Innovate, Adapt & Thrive”.

We will also be holding abstract, poster, and presentation workshops - you can register for these below.

The forum will be held on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st July, 2026 at Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health, located on the Mount Isa Hospital Campus, North West Queensland.

Abstract Submission

Guidelines for abstract submission to follow shortly. 

Please note that presentations should be submitted to the OAHF committee by COB Friday 29th May 2026. This helps us to ensure things run smoothly during the forum.

All speakers must register for the OAHF 2026. Please register via Eventbrite.

Abstract and Presentation Workshops

To support the OAHF, MCRRH Research staff will be facilitating abstract writing and presentation workshops.
