Terms and Conditions of Use

  • Meeting rooms are available for use between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
  • The organiser/facilitator must report to JCU Reception upon arrival to sign in and receive information regarding the building's emergency procedures. It is the organiser/facilitator’s responsibility to communicate this information to participants and ensure their safety and wellbeing throughout the event.
  • The organiser/facilitator is responsible for all room setup and pack-down activities. All furniture, equipment, and room layouts must be returned to their original configuration following use.
  • Organisers/facilitators and participants must not alter the settings, configuration, or setup of any IT, audio-visual, or other installed equipment. Personal laptops must not be connected to this equipment.
  • All presentations and event materials should be provided on a USB flash drive or supplied to administration prior to the event where possible.

Additional Information

  • JCU Murtupuni does not arrange catering. Any catering requirements are the responsibility of the organiser/facilitator.
  • The kitchen and tearoom are shared facilities for staff, students, participants, and visitors. Please ensure these areas are left clean and tidy after use.
  • While every effort will be made to accommodate room booking requests, JCU Murtupuni reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings where operational requirements necessitate. Organisers will be notified as soon as practicable should this occur.
