Students

With distance, comes opportunity.

Student placements in rural and remote areas offer you greater access to supervisors, teaching and clinical staff, exposure to more areas of medicine, and learning opportunities you just wouldn’t get in metropolitan areas.

Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Allied Health placements are available across the North West, Central West, Lower Gulf, Western Cape and Emerald. Placements are facilitated through hospitals, primary health clinics, private practice, service learning programs, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations such as Gidgee Healing.
