The Centre for Rural and Remote Health (CRRH) is a University Department of Rural Health (UDRH), one of 15 centres in a national network, and the foundation UDRH in Queensland.

Through delivering education and research, the Centre for Rural and Remote Health aims to build a healthy community and a skilled health workforce in and for regional, rural and remote Queensland.
Our region of the vast minerals province, beef and agricultural industries across the North West, Central and Central West, Lower Gulf, Channel Country and the Western Cape spans across more than 600,000 square kilometres – more than 50% of Queensland!
Outback Allied Health Forum
The CRRH and the Allied Health professionals of Gidgee Healing, North West Hospital and Health Service, North West Remote Health and private practice host a biennial forum to progress and support Allied Health practice.
