This workshop focuses on key aspects of supervising underperformance and addressing conduct and/or professional concerns. Participants are encouraged to actively engage through peer discussion, vignettes, and role-plays that explore identifying and understanding supervisee underperformance, effectively supervising an underperforming supervisee, and addressing conduct or professional issues. Competence and skills related to each topic will be covered within the relational context of the supervisory relationship.

After completing this Masterclass you will be able to:

  • Understand and adhere to professional and legal requirements
  • Recognise and address supervisee underperformance at an early stage
  • Recognise and address conduct or professional issues early and effectively
  • Apply a critical reflection process to reduce the risk of serious violations and to manage violations appropiately as they occur
