Board-Approved Full Supervisor Training for New Supervisors
REGISTER NOW PART 2 WORKSHOP CALENDAR
The Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health and the College of Healthcare Sciences, James Cook University, are providing professional/clinical Supervisor Training for new supervisors. As a rural and remote training organisation, our supervisor training program includes developing competency in rural and remote supervision.
The full training consists of three parts: knowledge assessment, skills workshop, and competency assessment. We only offer a packaged deal for our training. AAPi (hyperlink) members or JCU employees and students are eligible for a 20% discount on the general registration cost.
This training has been approved by the Psychology Board of Australia for supervising Psychologists seeking to become Board-approved supervisors. It is equally valuable for allied health professionals who want to develop their skills in this area.
Parts 1-3 are completed sequentially. You have 12 months to complete all parts of this course, with exceptions granted under extenuating circumstances.
